District 11 tries to meet once a month. We split our meetings from North Accomac County and South Accomac. Everyone is welcome to attend and we always enjoy new faces and new ideas. My phone number is (757) 665-1177 and the best time to reach me is after dark. If you happen to be coming to the Eastern Shore on vacation look us up and come to one of our meetings.
Our members have been very busy trapping and the reports I've been receiving sound like they've made some good fox and coon catches. The guys here are very ambitious and what they may be lacking in knowledge they make up for with gumption. I guess that's the trappers' way.
My computer has been acting up now for a couple months so if you have tried to reach me via TTFur@aol.com and I haven't got back to you I probably lost you somewhere out in cyberspace.
Todd and Drew Sturgis are on a mission and have probably made some of the biggest catches. Father-son teams are hard to beat and these two guys are great people. Ryan Walker hasn't been doing too shabby either, with limited property and limited time he's been doing a great job.
We are planning some great meetings this coming summer. A lot of how to's, great food and maybe some guest visitors to talk about their trapping experiences.
