Hello Trappers,

  Fall is finally upon us. As I'm writing this I know all you live market  
folks are gearing up for another season. I personally have 2 and half more  months
to wait before I can lay any steel. If you can find it in your hearts,  
please leave me some out there. Anyway I'm getting ready to boil traps and get  
ready myself. It looks to be a good year. I just got permission to trap 90 acres  
not far from my house. The owner sees fox and coyote almost daily. The fur  
market reports seem to be good, and maybe we can fill up our fuel tanks after  
the fur sales. The VTA has a convention coming up real soon, and it seems to  
shaping up to a huge event. District 1 seems to have a No Holds Barred state of
mind in their preparation, and I feel sure we are in for a great time. I
know I can't wait! I would like to remind everyone to make sure you get your
permission  forms filled out for trapping private lands. The are available online

Also be sure to take a kid trapping. They are our future. Lets keep the  
trapping legacy alive and stronger than ever. If you have anything to go into  the
