As I write this we are less that 2 weeks til our fur auction. If you haven't preregistered yet make sure to call Charlane Krebbs at 540-832-2708. Don't forget to put one of your furs into the 50/50 raffle. We will also have raffle tickets on sale there also. I urge each member to buy just one. All the money raised goes to funding the VTA and YOUR right to continue to trap.
The VTA booth at the game show in Fischersville was a big success. Several new members signed up and Steve Colvins daughter sold 24 raffle tickets, GREAT JOB young lady, THANK YOU.
JR Bowling in Dist 2 is getting everything ready for the VTA convention. As information becomes available I will pass it on.
Some members may not be aware but the Friend of the Rappahanock tried to close a large area in the Fredricksburg area to the public. The VTA was there and we were heard. The people you have voted into office are taking their position very personally when it come to our right to trap.
I know the VTA is going in the right direction and this is going to be a GREAT year for this organization.
