Hope all of you had a great Christmas and a great new
year. Just a note as fur season and deer hides have been keeping me busy. The
fur prices do not look good except for muskrat and otter.
At tented the furs fur sell in TN last weekend at Bulls Gap. Their was a total
of 19 pieces of fur all coon and they bought $.25 each. Trappers, with
the weather and few people trapping who knows what
is going to happen to the fur prices.
On the national side, the Maine lawsuit to ban trapping was thrown out and this
was a great victory for the NTA, Maine, along with other organizations that
fought this battle.
